In Mason, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Michigan, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Mason is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Mason follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. My husband and I have gone every year since we started dating 9 years ago, and always found a great tree. I don’t think their prices have gone up in all that time either. This year we discovered they have adorable annual ornaments, and when I reached out hoping they had one or two of the previous 8 years, they dug around and pulled together all 8 years. That was above and beyond and so caring. You won’t regret making this an annual tradition. I find the selection good - a little harder if you need 6’ but 7’-8’ is good. Yes, the prettiest are not tagged so they can get bigger, but we enjoy the hunt and always have great options. It is a popular place, so go earlier to get the best selection.

This was our 1st time coming here, I wasn't disappointed. Everyone was extremely helpful and super nice. They were also very knowledgeable in each type of tree and helped me select the exact one perfect for my house. They even suggested an awesome tree stand as well. I will recommend Tannenbaums Farms to family/friends. I love this place. What a beautiful Christmas tree I have!! Thanks to all the staff for making our Christmas wonderful. Happy Holidays to all.

This tree farm truly checks all the boxes! They offer a great variety of tree species at reasonable prices, and the staff is both friendly and incredibly helpful. The festive atmosphere is enhanced by a cozy cabin serving hot chocolate and a bonfire. It's also hard to find tree farms with trees taller than 6 feet, but they have a dedicated “tall section” featuring a stunning selection of large trees. Highly recommended!

I could not write a better review of this place!! It was a cold rainy day and everyone was so so helpful and nice. Every employee had a smile on their face and the prices were great! Mr and Ms. Santa Claus was what we came for an I couldn't say anything better! 🤶🎅 They were so patient with our son an actually spent time talking with him! We were able to take our own photos and didn't have to worry about paying mall prices. Best experience!! Hands down would come again!
